International Pop Sensation BTS taking an “official extended rest period”

Just like the rest of us, global popstars sometimes need a break from their hectic vocations. Unlike most of us, however, the seven members of BTS happen to be award-winning, chart-topping singers / songwriters.

K-pop group from Seoul, South Korea released their mega-bit “Butter” in May this year, and they went on to win three American Music Awards while generating huge Grammy buzz. Additionally, BTS was featured on the popular song “My Universe”, taken from Coldplay’s ninth studio album, which was released in full in October 2021.

Now the boy group has announced an official “rest period” to “recharge” and “re-inspire”, as group management Big Hit Entertainment explained. The management company explained that the group, made up of members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, needed time to recover from their busy schedules and spend time with their family to vacations.
