Kehlani ends concert early for fan safety

Kehlani has put his foot down when it comes to the safety and well-being of his fans.

During her August 15 concert in Philadelphia, the R&B singer ended her set early after seeing several fans pass out during the show. Kehlani was performing on the Skyline Stage at the Mann Center when she made the decision, and a representative from the venue confirmed that she only cut her show “about 5 minutes” short. Fortunately, no spectators had to be hospitalized according to the representative, but a few fans received first aid on the spot.

“I can’t have this. It’s not correct. I don’t feel comfortable. I do not feel good. I feel like no one is safe right now,” Kehlani said before leaving the stage. “I love you so much. I have no more words to express how disappointed and heartbroken I am.

The Mann Center’s Skyline Stage has a capacity of 7,500 and around 5,600 people were in attendance for the Aug. 15 show according to the rep. “Throughout filming, the artist asked his fans to step away from the stage and make room for each other, which we appreciate and the artist has done in many of his other shows. “, further confirmed the representative.
