Native American music, dance and crafts in the spotlight at the Chasco Fiesta

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Alligator wrestling, native dancing and tribal drumming will be part of the authentic Native American entertainment and education programs featured during the 10-day Chasco Fiesta March 25-April 3.

This year’s program features world champion hoop dancing, Aztec fire dancers, alligator wrestling and a reptile demonstration, award-winning Native American singers and songwriters, drummers and dancers from many backgrounds. stalls as well as Native American arts and crafts stalls.

To celebrate 100 years of this Native American-themed festival, on the first Monday of the festival, artists will take center stage in the amphitheater with free performances for all attendees. All other days require a $5 entry fee, which includes full access to the fiesta event. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
